Feist, 1234. I first loved this song on the iPod commercials – and can’t stop smiling anytime I’ve heard it since.

Corrine Bailey Rae, Put Your Records On. I heard this song on a pivotal trip to London – fresh from a break up, and on the verge of a 30th birthday. I loved the happy, power, calm it provided me.

Pete Yorn, A Girl Like You. The first song G (the husband, then boyfriend) ever learned to play exclusively for me, because I said how much I loved it. Still, 4 years later – it gives me chills.
